Psychologists may use the term empath to describe a person that experiences a great deal of empathy, often to the point of taking on the pain of others at their own expense. (psychalive.org)
An empath’s emotions are easily affected by their surroundings, to represent this experience, I created abstract forms inspired by fish. Schools of fish are known for swimming in harmony and I used that imagery to represent outside forces altering the state of one’s emotions.
